To begin your creative journey, choose from a selection of dozens of templates. These templates come with pre-designed scenes, animated 3D models, and built-in avatars. Additionally, there is a blank template available for those who prefer to start from scratch.

You can customize the scenes to match your vision by adding and animating hundreds of free and premium 3D models. It's also possible to incorporate your own 3D models, including USDZ and GLB formats. Furthermore, you can personalize the scenes by adding custom avatars with unique voice clips and face animations. Complete the look of your scene with color schemes, ground features, different skies, background sounds, and more.

When you're ready to showcase your work, simply tap the Record button to shoot, save, and share a video of the scene. You can combine multiple scene videos to create impressive movies that exceed your initial expectations.

With augmented reality (AR) capabilities, Movie Maker 3D allows you to experience your scene in an exciting way. You can shoot 3D movies and videos with super realistic backgrounds and lighting.

Customize your scene by adding and animating any of the hundreds of free and premium photorealistic 3D models available. Action sequences can be easily created using the built-in clips. You can also incorporate voice clips, sound effects, background sounds, and musical soundtracks to enhance your scene.

Some categories of 3D models include animals (bear, cheetah, dalmatian, fox, hippo, orca), avatars (built-in and custom), computers & electronics (bluetooth speaker, macintosh, turntable), decor (confetti, miniature lights, telescope), and more.

Movie Maker 3D seamlessly integrates with the Ready Player Me Avatar creator. This allows you to create multiple avatars and customize them with a variety of facial features, hair styles, clothing options, eyewear, hats, etc. The app also provides numerous body animation clips for avatars, and users have the ability to add their own animations from Mixamo.com as well as record their own voice.

Collaboration

Invite your team to collaborate on your movies and videos via iCloud. Each member can contribute by animating 3D models, creating and adding their own avatars, recording dialogues, and shooting video scenes. Real-time sharing via iCloud ensures that all participants can edit and contribute to the project efficiently. In the event of conflicts or overlapping changes, a first-come-first-served approach is followed.
